About IMA
IMA (International Maritime Academy), is the first & only private institution in Lebanon, holding dual accreditation from the Ministry of Education & Higher Education and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
Established in 2018, our academy was born with a clear vision, a singular goal, and a resolute purpose: “To equip and direct young people into promising careers”

IMA's Vision is to become the pioneer of Maritime education in the MENA region. We aspire to be recognized as a hub of academic excellence and a global powerhouse for nurturing maritime talent.
Our Mission
Over the next 5 years, IMA's mission is to foster a deeper maritime culture in Lebanon by raising awareness among Lebanese Youth about this field and its abundant opportunities. By increasing the number of licensed graduates, we can guarantee a qualified crew ready to be hired by international and local companies- in both Shipping and Yachting fields.
